    Application of gene manipulation techniques in mesenchymal stem cell enhances the possibility of regeneration of damaged or lost hair cells in the cochlea by inducing proliferation, differentiation, migration or secretion of paracrine factors. The list of important genes, microRNAs and siRNAs are used to study the hair cell regeneration (left).
